Facilities

The manufacturers of our buildings have a long history of providing kennels and catteries for the ministry, along with many of the rescue centres. So the general design and construction of our facilities meets all the up to date boarding requirements.

With biosecurity being a very important requirement of any boarding establishment, we are very proud that all of our kennel and cattery lodges are individual units and all come complete with their own external covered exercise runs.

We run a specific software package designed to record all bookings and relevant information, so this allows us to prepare any special requirements in advance of arrival or merely just to recall which pen is your pets favourite holiday destination. We also have the facilities for our customers to make bookings online or simply just to make payments electronically.

Please remember up to date vaccination documents (including Canine Kennel Cough) must be furnished in advance or upon arrival.

Each of the animals in our care will be fed individually, for which we stock a good selection of popular brands but if you wish us to administer a special diet please feel free to bring it with you.

Kennels

Every dog in our care is walked twice daily on the many country walks that surround our farm, meandering through the beautiful Roseland Countryside. We feel regular walking is essential for the comfort and well being of all the dogs, in addition to country walks we have large contained outside runs for playtime or general exercise.

Our Orchard kennel block is adjoining the reception and houses 16 individual pens in which we have a mixture of single or double sized pens and this building is normally used for the smaller or older dogs.

Moving up to the Paddock complex we have 20 modern kennels which were built to our own design and constructed of materials never used before in kennel developments. Almost 50% of the materials used came from recycled plastics, making us some of greenest kennels available anywhere.

All sleeping areas have the luxury of heating and total insulation from the elements, in addition to the totally individual covered outside runs.

Cattery

The cats enjoy the same level of comforts.

Each cat pen incorporates an internal heated and ventilated sleeping pod and all the cats have access to their own individual outside covered run.

The sleeping pods are fitted out with soft fluffy bedding under which will be an additional heating pad, useful for those extra long cat naps !!
